Welcome

We are a group of Year 1 and 2 children. We are learning about the differences between the city and the country.

Kaine (Year 1) has drawn Russley School. We are in Christchurch near the airport. You can see the Southern Alps in the distance.

We would like to show you our city school.

Hotdog day

This week on Friday the 24 of September we are going to have hotdog day. The PTA will be selling strawberry and chocolate milk this time. YUM!

Room 17

Room 17 are making farm animal collages because the school went to my teacher's hobby farm and my schools' topic is town and country. Room 17 also got a scarecrow. We made some flowers on the window.

Pink Pigs

Room 14 are making pigs. We do have ears now. Our big buddies from Room 6 helped us with the glue. We did all the rest by ourselves.

Same and different

Russley School is bigger than Ladbrooks School. Russley School is a city school. Ladbrooks is a country school. The diagram is showing the difference between the city and the country schools.
